Meet Debra Middleton, Directress of the Altar Guild
Debra was born in Somerville, New Jersey, and was raised
in a reformed Jewish household. Shortly after her marriage
to Tom, a former Episcopalian, Debra accepted Jesus as her
Savior and was baptized in St. Matthew's with Lou Anne Perkins
and Jean Green standing with her for this most blessed event.
In the fall of 2002 she, along with her daughter, was confirmed
by Bishop Grundorf. |

Debra and Tom live in Riverview. They have four children, three
daughters and a son, and a grandson who is the light of their lives.
They share their home with a Border Collie mix named Molly, a Maine
coon cat named Brandy, and a cockatiel named Bella.
Debra has been very active at St. Matthew's. She served as President
of St. Anne's Guild in 2003. She is currently Treasurer of St. Anne's
and previously served as Treasurer of the Altar Guild. She can be
found at every fund raising and social event at St. Matthew's and
plays an active role in the success of these activities.
Debra says that she and her family love attending St. Matthew's.
Becoming a Christian later in life, she is comforted and spiritually
uplifted by her new faith and particularly by Father Bill. In her
own words, "we are so happy to have found St. Matthew's, it
has changed our lives".
