Coming Events
June 6 SUMMER BRUNCH 9 a.m. - This begins the series of three monthly
brunches held in the parish hall on the first Sundays of June,
July,
and August. This is a great opportunity for the entire church membership
to get together between the two scheduled services. Watch for
sign
up sheets in mid-May on which you can indicate your intention to
attend and what food item you prefer to contribute.
Parish Family News
Welcome to New Members. It is with great pleasure that we welcome
Christopher Gardner to parish membership. Chris lives in Riverview
and comes to us from the Lutheran Church.
Recuperating. Three of our parishioners were hospitalized recently
and thankfully are now recuperating at home. Cheryl Bennett and
Irene Rourke are doing well. Christine Richardson suffered a heart
attack on April 23 and was treated at Bay Front Hospital and also
at Brandon Regional. Let's keep all of them in our prayers for a
complete recovery.

We are happy to welcome back Fr. Bill and Lou Anne Perkins from
their two-week vacation. Though they were sorely missed, each enjoyed
a well-earned rest.
Our deepest thanks are extended to Fr. Al Waltham and to Bishop
Dornan who made it possible for us to “worship as usual" during
our rector's absence. We also greatly appreciate and thank Jeanne
Woodke who provided us with organ accompaniment on Sundays during
Lou Anne's brief respite from her regular place at the organ. Jeanne
was very faithful in assisting the choir during her time with us.
Lou Anne will resume her post as parish organist on the first Sunday
in May.
