Parish Family News

Welcome to New Members
It is with great pleasure that we welcome seven new members. Thom and Dodie Brown come to us from the Episcopal Church and live in Sun City Center. Carol and Reynold (Ray) Hulse, of Sun City, are also former Episcopalians. Robert and Patricia Thibodeaux live in Dover; Robert comes from the Roman Catholic Church and Patricia from the Episcopal Church. Katherine Kopf, Patricia's mother, lives in Brandon and is a former Episcopalian. . These folks increase the number of new registrants since last September to 40! May that number continue to grow!
Recuperating
Bob Plummer has moved from the Medical Unit at University Village into the Assisted Living division of UV. This is welcome news; Bob hopes to be able to attend church soon. Sheila Bair has been incapacitated by a broken foot and is recuperating at home. Eunice Hall suffered a fall at her home and is progressing well at Tandem Rehabilitation Center. She informs us that she will soon be moving to Delaney Ridge Court on So. Lakewood ; she will be in the Assisted Living area. Jim Plumb was back in church a week after suffering a serious heart problem. (The news might not have been so good had not Sandy gotten him to the hospital in record time.) Finally, Jim Spohn is doing very well after a short hospitalization for diagnostic surgery, the outcome of which was excellent. Let us give thanks for all the positive news and keep all these good folks in our prayers for their complete recovery and happy futures..
