St Matthews Newsletter - February 2004

Notes From St. Anne's Guild

Our first major social event of the year is the Annual St.
Valentine's Day Party, which is scheduled for Saturday,
February 14, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Because of the tremendous growth in our church membership in recent months, we decided to rent a facility that would give us adequate space and equipment to accommodate a larger group and ensure a really great party. The St. Valentine's Party will be held at Providence Community Center West, which is located at 5417 Providence Road. From the church, drive east on Bloomingdale Avenue to the first traffic light, turn left on Providence Road. Look for a green-roofed, pinkish brick building situated between two athletic fields on the left side of Providence Road. Both parking and entrance to the building are in the rear.

Tickets are on sale every Sunday before and after mass for the price of $7.00. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $7.50. Featured during the evening will be dinner, music, dancing, door prizes, and great fellowship. This will be a wonderful opportunity for old and new parishioners, as well as friends of the parish, to get together and really get acquainted.
